27 Pistols Seized in Major BSF-SSOC Operation Along Punjab Border

The Border Security Force (BSF) and State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) Fazilka have apprehended two arms smugglers and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition along the Fazilka border in Punjab. The operation was carried out based on precise intelligence, which led to a joint strategic ambush near village Mahar Khiwa Mansa in district Fazilka during the night.

After hours of patient waiting, the ambush team noticed suspicious movement and successfully apprehended one criminal, recovering 27 pistols, 54 magazines, and 470 live rounds from a big sack in his possession. Following sustained questioning of the nabbed delinquent, the team managed to apprehend his associate from the same village.

The accused, are now in the custody of SSOC, Fazilka for further investigation. This recovery marks one of the largest seizures of pistols in recent times in Punjab, highlighting the seamless synergy between BSF and SSOC in combating cross-border arms smuggling.
