New Delhi:India-UAE Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) meeting held in New Delhi, co-chaired by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and UAE’s Under Secretary of Defense Lt General Ibrahim Nasser M. Al Alawi. Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral defence cooperation.

The meeting resulted in agreements to enhance military training cooperation, discuss training requirements, and provide customized training courses tailored to the UAE’s needs. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Indian Coast Guard and the UAE National Guard, establishing a framework for cooperation in search and rescue operations, pollution response, and maritime security.

The UAE delegation is scheduled to call on Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth and participate in the 2nd India-UAE Defence Industry Partnership Forum. India’s participation in the Dubai Air Show in November 2025 is expected to further reinforce the momentum in defence cooperation between the two nations.
