India, UK Conduct Joint Military Exercise in Rajasthan

The eighth edition of the India-UK Joint Military Exercise “AJEYA WARRIOR-25” has commenced at the Foreign Training Node, Mahajan Field Firing Ranges, Rajasthan. The exercise, scheduled from November 17 to 30, 2025, brings together 240 personnel from the Indian Army and the British Army, with troops from the Sikh Regiment representing the Indian Army.

Conducted under a United Nations mandate, the exercise focuses on counter-terrorism operations in a semi-urban environment. The training includes joint mission planning at the Brigade level, integrated tactical drills, simulation-based scenarios, and company-level field training exercises replicating real-life counter-terror contingencies.

The exercise aims to enhance tactical proficiency, share best practices, and develop coordinated responses for managing complex operations in challenging environments.

This biennial exercise, held since 2011, reinforces shared values of professionalism, cooperation, and commitment to regional stability and global peace between the Indian Army and the British Army.
