Indian K-Pop Fans Go Wild as NOMAD Performs at All-India K-pop Contest 2025

New Delhi: The Korean Cultural Centre India in New Delhi hosted the grand finale of the All-India K-pop Contest 2025 on July 19, marking the 15th edition of this iconic event. The contest, which has become a cornerstone of Korean pop culture in India, drew participants from across the country, showcasing exceptional talent and passion for K-pop.

The top prize in the dance category was awarded to Delhi-based K-pop group ‘3plus4crew’ for their electrifying performance to ‘Super’ by Seventeen. In the vocal category, Shylee Preetam from Hyderabad won the top spot with her soulful rendition of ‘U & I’ by Ailee. The inaugural ‘rap’ category saw Riniya Taku from Itanagar emerge as the winner with her performance to ‘Backpacker’ by Zerobaseone. All three winners will participate ‘K-Pop World Festival’ in Changwon, South Korea, later this year.

The evening was made special by a scintillating performance by the upcoming K-pop boyband NOMAD, which traveled from Korea exclusively for the event. The group performed their hit tracks, including ‘No Pressure’, ‘California Love’, ‘Compare’, and ‘Carnival’, leaving the Indian K-pop fans thrilled. The members of NOMAD also interacted with their fans in a special ‘Fan Meeting’ session, learning some Hindi greetings and bonding with their Indian fans.
