Asia’s Largest Education Trade Fair to Showcase India’s Skilled Workers

New Delhi: Asia’s largest education trade fair, Didac India & Didac Skills, is set to open its doors at the India International Convention & Expo Center in New Delhi from November 18 to 20, 2025. Organized by Messe Stuttgart India and the India Didactics Association (IDA), the event expects over 500 exhibiting companies and 40,000 visitors from over 40 countries.
The event aims to promote skilled worker mobility between India and Germany, with a special focus on the “Skills” theme. Germany’s participation is under the motto “Germany meets Didac India & Didac Skills,” showcasing the country’s expertise in education and vocational training.
German participation includes eleven companies, five intermediary organizations, and two federal states, Baden-Württemberg and Thuringia. International participants from Australia, the UK, and Finland, as well as ten Indian Sector Skills Councils, will enrich the trade fair and conference program.
The supporting program features expert talks, best practice examples, testimonials, and interactive activities. A German Pavilion will offer a joint presentation with an associated information stand and an expanded specialist forum.
The event reflects the growing interest in India-Germany cooperation in education and vocational training, with a focus on securing skilled workers for Germany’s economy. According to Gaurav Sood, CEO of Messe Stuttgart India, “The topics of school education and vocational training are enormously important for India, but also for the geographic environment. Accordingly, interest in Didac India & Didac Skills is growing continuously.”
Roland Bleinroth, CEO of Messe Stuttgart, adds, “We are pleased to be part of the strategy for attracting skilled workers from India, which is to be further expanded on the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Federal Foreign Office.”
