India Will Respond Decisively to Terrorism, Warns Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh

Srinagar: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh today warned Pakistan that it will pay a heavier price if it continues to support terrorism. Addressing Indian Army soldiers at Badami Bagh Cantt in Srinagar, Singh emphasized that India has always prioritized peace but will respond decisively when its sovereignty is attacked.
Singh termed Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military operation against terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as the biggest action taken by India against terrorism in history. He praised the bravery and discretion of the Indian Armed Forces, saying that they gave the right direction to their anger and took revenge for the Pahalgam terror attack.
The Raksha Mantri also raised concerns about Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, questioning whether they are safe in the hands of an irresponsible nation. He suggested that Pakistan’s nuclear weapons should be taken under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Singh reiterated that Pakistan must stop sheltering anti-India and terrorist organizations and not allow its land to be used against India. He also emphasized that terrorism and talks cannot go together and that any talks with Pakistan will only be on terrorism and PoK.
The Raksha Mantri paid homage to the innocent civilians who were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack and the soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during Operation Sindoor. He commended the courage of the injured soldiers and wished for their speedy recovery.
Singh expressed gratitude to the brave soldiers who destroyed Pakistani posts and bunkers across the border, sending a clear message to the enemy. He reiterated the government’s commitment to continue equipping the soldiers with advanced weapons and modern infrastructure.
The Raksha Mantri exuded confidence that with the cooperation of the military, India will soon eradicate terrorism in the region, ensuring the nation’s sovereignty and security.
