K-Pop Group ‘NOMAD’ to Make India Debut at All India K-Pop Contest 2025

New Delhi: In a spectacular celebration of Korean pop culture, the All India K-Pop Contest 2025 is set to culminate in a grand finale on July 19 at the OP Jindal Auditorium in New Delhi. Marking its 15th edition, this iconic event has been a driving force in spreading Hallyu (the Korean Wave) across India since its inception in 2011.
Adding an extra layer of excitement to the event is the India debut of K-pop sensation ‘NOMAD’. The five-member group, consisting of Sangha, Doy, One, Rivr, and Junho, has been making waves in the global K-pop scene with their powerful choreography and genre-blending music. Their performance is eagerly anticipated by fans, and they will also be hosting a special ‘Fan Meeting’ session, providing a unique opportunity for fans to interact with them.
The winners of the contest will be awarded substantial cash prizes: ₹2,00,000 for the first spot, ₹1,00,000 for the second spot, and ₹50,000 for the third spot in each category. Beyond the monetary rewards, the champions will participate at the K-Pop World Festival in South Korea.
From 1,278 team registrations, 15 teams have been shortlisted to compete in the final showdown. These teams, hailing from across the country, will showcase their talents in three distinct categories: Vocal, Dance, and Rap.

Hwang Il Yong, Director of Korean Cultural Centre India, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the immense talent and love for K-pop in India.
“India is a country with so much talent and an immense love for K-pop and Korean culture. This is the reason that the All India K-pop Contest is celebrating its 15th edition this year with a spectacular Grand Finale in New Delhi. This event has been held for the past 15 years under all circumstances as it is a very meaningful festival for young people in India. Now, we are all very excited and eagerly look forward to the performances that will be on display at the Grand Finale on July 19.” said Hwang Il Yong.
The All India K-pop Contest has been a platform for K-pop enthusiasts in India to showcase their talents and celebrate Korean culture. The event has been held annually since 2011.
