Operation Black Forest’ a Golden Chapter in Anti-Naxal Ops: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, met and felicitated the CRPF, Chhattisgarh Police, DRG, and Cobra jawans in New Delhi for their bravery and valour in successfully carrying out ‘Operation Black Forest’ on Karreguttalu hill. The operation was conducted under challenging conditions, with the security forces overcoming obstacles such as heat, altitude, and the danger of IEDs.

Amit Shah praised the jawans for their exceptional courage and determination, saying that their bravery will be remembered as a golden chapter in the history of anti-Naxal operations. He emphasized that the Modi government will not rest until all Naxalites are either surrendered, caught, or eliminated, and that India will be made Naxal-free under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Union Home Minister highlighted the significant damage caused by Naxalites to the least developed areas of the country, including the shutdown of schools and hospitals, and the prevention of government schemes from reaching the people. However, he noted that due to anti-Naxal operations, there has been a new sunrise in the lives of 6.5 crore people in the affected areas.

Amit Shah also emphasized the Modi government’s commitment to making the lives of security forces smooth, particularly those who have suffered serious physical injuries in anti-Naxal operations. He reiterated the government’s goal to make the country free from Naxalism by March 31, 2026.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were also present on the occasion, congratulating the security forces on their success. The fellicitation ceremony was a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of the jawans, who have played a crucial role in combating Naxalism in the country.
