Ziemia Bydgoska Ensemble Set to Enchant Delhi with Polish Folk Heritage

New Delhi, October 3, 2025 – The renowned Song and Dance Ensemble Ziemia Bydgoska, a stalwart promoter of Poland’s rich folk culture since 1958, is poised to captivate Delhi audiences with their vibrant performance this Sunday, October 5th. Invited by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in collaboration with the Polish Institute, the ensemble will grace Central Park, Inner Circle, Connaught Place, around 7:15 PM.
With a legacy marked by global accolades, including a third-place triumph at South Korea’s World Dance Festival in Cheonan, Ziemia Bydgoska embodies Poland’s cultural essence. Uniting over 200 passionate members – dancers, singers, musicians – from ages 4 to adulthood and diverse professions, their artistry transcends boundaries.
A 15-member delegation presents four captivating programs reflecting Poland’s regional traditions, curated from their repertoire of nearly 20 vibrant showcases. Under choreographer Elżbieta Kornaszewska-Rogacka’s artistic stewardship, their Delhi performance promises cultural splendor.
Prior engagements include successful shows in Ghaziabad (Delhi NCR), Shillong, and Cherrapunji (Meghalaya), highlighting their cross-cultural resonance.
Held amidst Central Park’s verdant charm in bustling Connaught Place – accessible via Rajiv Chowk Metro – the event fosters global dialogue, featuring groups from multiple nations alongside Ziemia Bydgoska.
