Indian Army Embarks on “Year of Reforms” to Transform into a Future Ready Force

The Indian Army has unveiled a comprehensive blueprint for the “Year of Reforms” announced by the Raksha Mantri on January 1, 2025. The Army’s reform agenda is anchored across five key pillars, designed to drive transformational change and ensure the Army remains a formidable force in the decades to come. The pillars include Jointness and Integration, Force Restructuring, Modernisation and Technology Infusion, Systems and Processes, and Human Resource Management.
