Korean Innovation Meets Indian Enthusiasm at MGH K-Beauty Showcase

New Delhi: MGH Korea Delhi Centre recently hosted a vibrant K-Beauty and K-Pop competition that brought together Indian youth and Korean cultural icons. The event promoted Korean education, music, and beauty in India, featuring competitions in K-Pop dance, Korean vocal, and make-up artistry.

The event began with a traditional Indian dance performance, symbolizing a blend of Indian and Korean cultures. MGH Korea, founded by Prof. Lee Sang Jun, has been spreading Korean language and culture globally since 2015.

“Our goal is not only to teach the Korean language but also to connect students to Korea’s world-class universities and cultural experiences,” said Prof. Lee.

The K-Beauty Awareness Showcase featured leading Korean brands introducing their skincare philosophies and innovations to the Indian audience. Green School promoted sustainable education and Korean language awareness, while Head Spa Seoul showcased traditional Korean wellness-based scalp and skin treatments. BRICs India Trade Pvt. Ltd. highlighted academic and beauty-related opportunities for Indian students in Korea, and Skin First demonstrated modern Korean skincare science.

The competitions were a major draw, with young participants across India showcasing exceptional talent. Khushi Mathur won first place in the K-Pop Dance category, followed by Khusboo and Ujjala Khatri. In the Live Make-Up Artistry competition, Armani & Nimi took top honors, while Ritika & Kritika and Devangi Das Sen & Dristi Sarkar secured the runner-up positions.

The program concluded with resounding applause, reaffirming MGH Korea’s mission to empower Indian youth through language, education, and culture, while acting as a vibrant bridge between India and South Korea for generations to come.
