New Delhi: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh emphasized the importance of “Make-in-India” in national security, highlighting its crucial role in India’s effective action against terrorism during Operation Sindoor. He was addressing the Inaugural Plenary of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Business Summit in New Delhi on May 29, 2025.

Rajnath Singh emphasized the importance of government-industry synergy in making India a developed nation by 2047. He stressed that the success of efforts to prioritize policy clarity, indigenization, economic resilience, and strategic autonomy can be ensured only when all stakeholders, including innovators, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers, become strong partners in this national mission.
