Finland Strengthens Ties with Gujarat through New Honorary Consulate

In a move to deepen bilateral relations between Finland and India, the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi is set to inaugurate a new Honorary Consulate in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on June 9, 2025.
The new Honorary Consulate will be headed by Kulin Lalbhai, a prominent business leader from Gujarat, who has been appointed as the Honorary Consul of Finland. He will play a pivotal role in advancing economic cooperation and fostering close ties between Finland and Gujarat.
Ambassador Kimmo Lähdevirta will formally inaugurate the new consulate and meet with government officials, industry leaders, corporate executives, and academics during his visit. A high-level business delegation will accompany him.
