Amit Shah Reviews CRPF’s Operational Preparedness
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, visited the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Headquarters in New Delhi to conduct a thorough review of the force’s operations and administrative efficiency.
During the meeting, Shah interacted with senior officers of the CRPF, including Director General Anish Dayal Singh. The meeting was also attended by several senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), including the Union Home Secretary.
Shah reviewed the CRPF’s operational preparedness and its efforts to maintain internal security and peace in the country. The Home Minister praised the CRPF’s role in tackling Naxalism and restoring stability in North-Eastern states and Jammu & Kashmir.
Director General Anish Dayal Singh also briefed the Home Minister on various welfare schemes being implemented for the families of martyred jawans of the force. These schemes include compassionate appointments in the CRPF, aimed at providing employment opportunities to the families of personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Shah emphasized the importance of promoting Hindi in the daily functioning of the force to strengthen linguistic unity. He encouraged the use of Hindi in official communication and documentation, stating that it would help promote national unity and integration.
The Home Minister also expressed concern for the welfare of CRPF personnel and their families. He encouraged the use of ‘Shri Ann’ (millets) for better health and urged soldiers to explore the benefits of Ayurveda. Shah called upon the soldiers to participate in the ‘Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan’ to get personalized health insights as per their individual ‘Prakriti’, fostering wellbeing and better health.
