Cabinet Condemns Red Fort Explosion, Vows to Pursue Perpetrators

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has strongly condemned the terrorist incident involving a car explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi on November 10, 2025. The Cabinet observed a two-minute silence to pay respects to the victims and expressed profound grief over the loss of lives.
The Cabinet adopted a resolution condemning the “heinous terror incident” and paying solemn respects to the victims. It conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of those injured. The Cabinet appreciated the prompt efforts of medical personnel and emergency responders.
The resolution reiterated India’s commitment to a policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It directed that the investigation be pursued with utmost urgency and professionalism to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice.
The Cabinet noted with appreciation the statements of solidarity and support from governments around the world. It also commended the timely and coordinated response of authorities, security agencies, and citizens.
The government has assured that the situation is being closely monitored at the highest levels, and it remains committed to safeguarding the lives and well-being of all Indians.
