Police Pay Tribute to Martyrs’ Families on Republic Day

Shopian: In a poignant display of solidarity and compassion, police personnel in Shopian of Jammu and Kashmir, visited the families of police martyrs on the eve of Republic Day. The gesture aimed to express unwavering support and pay tribute to the sacrifices made by the martyrs.
Led by SSP Shopian Anayat Ali Chowdhary-IPS, a team of senior officials, including Additional SP Shopian and DySP OPS Keller, personally visited the families of police martyrs. The visits were also made by jurisdictional officers in their respective areas.
The purpose of these visits was to express solidarity, understand the well-being of the families, and pay tribute to the martyrs’ sacrifices in pursuit of peace and national integrity. As a mark of respect and appreciation, the police distributed bakery and sweets to the families of police martyrs on Republic Day.
This symbolic gesture acknowledged the bond of shared sacrifice and solidarity, aiming to bring moments of joy and warmth to these extraordinary families during the national event.
